The deck it self could be bent or the spindles but I think you have 36 inch blades. I really doubt the blades are the wrong ones. The Cub 33" takes a specific blade. The spindle has an X shape on the bottom that matches the blade, so it doesn't slip. A regular blade will not fit on the spindle..
